Anatomical Studies - Currently in Progress
My current project explores developing visuals of the physical symptoms of panic disorders, and how it is the modern development of hysteria in women. Through blending anatomical studies and ghostly self-portraits I hope to illustrate some of the physical effects that can course through the body and that is not only in one's mind. Today anxiety and panic disorder can be viewed as a modern form of hysteria, especially in women, this aspect is symbolised through the use of delicate embroidery.
