Heloise Wynne is a visual artist based in Liverpool. Through the use of self-portraiture, she explores the depths of the psyche, questioning the idea of self, death and identity. She aims to bring physicality to unconscious thoughts through photographic technologies, manipulating these images through digital and analogue techniques, attempting to manifest what is only in our minds to the physical world.

Heloise is currently undergoing her Ph.D in practice-based research under the title: The In/Visible Dying; Experiencing and Viewing Contemporary Dying Through Embodied Self-Portrait Photography Practice.

She completed her MA in Photography in 2019 with the University of Central Lancashire, gaining a Distinction. She also received her BA(Hons) in Animation from the University of South Wales in 2014.
